Compatibility blind matching · pilot

Meet someone before you decide whether they are worth meeting.

Glimpse hides the things dating apps lead with — photos, names, bios — and shows you the things that actually matter for a first conversation. Three blind matches a day. A short, public, low-pressure date. Then the only question that counts: would you meet again?

Blind on purpose

No photos, no names, no curated bios before the date. You see who someone is by how they answer a few honest questions — and by whether a real conversation happens.

Compatibility first

We match on what actually predicts a good first conversation: what you're looking for, your dealbreakers, shared interests, and lifestyle fit. The score and its reasons are always shown.

Low pressure by design

A short first meeting, a public place, cancelling without penalty. You never owe anyone a second meeting — and you never owe anyone an explanation.

Honest measurement

We only count a win when both of you would meet again. Everything else is a number we watch so the pilot gets better.

You're part of an experiment

Glimpse is validating whether a little personal information — one proud moment, one topic, one conversation starter — makes first conversations better. At signup you are randomly placed in one of two arms: matches with short prompts, or without. Both arms stay blind; neither sees a photo or a name before the date. Your only job is to have a good conversation and answer honestly afterwards.
